Jay Buliung was the best friend a girl could ever have.

Jay was born in Framingham on March 14, 1953. He was a long time resident of Loxahatchee, FL . He was employed by the Palm Beach County School Department. He returned every summer to Mashpee and Provincetown to be with family and friends. Jay had many passions: traveling, gardening, theatre, music and animals. In March, 2017 with his health declining, he returned to Massachusetts to be with his family. Jay passed away on July 5, 2017 surrounded by his family at the Pat Roche Hospice Home in Hingham, MA.

I miss him every day.
Thank you for all the laughs and adventures Jay-Jay

Whenever Gail (Flannigan) and I get together on the phone or for a visit, Jay is most definitely with us. If one of us is down about something, we pull out a Jay story from our treasured collection and end up crying from laughing so hard at the memory. When the three of us had our excellent adventure in Costa Rica, I had the best seat in the house—the back seat of the car—with Gail and Jay, both masters of accents, in the front, improvising hilarious characters to fit whatever situation we found ourselves in. Jay's wit, zest for life and adventure was infectious and I'm so thankful I got to know him.

MaryJane Oliveri and Gail, however have the wildest adventure tale of the time Jay snuck them onto his summer job at the Montauk, Long Island dude ranch/resort ....
