Dennis E. Tobin, 53, Sarasota, died Jan. 24, 2006. He was born Dec. 9, 1952, in Boston and came to Sarasota in 1990 from Cape Cod, Mass. He was a chef. He served in the Navy and was a member of the Elks and Moose Club. Survivors include his parents Patrick J. and Mildred E. of Hardwick, Mass.; sisters Kathleen Strickland of Port Charlotte, Maureen of Hardwick and Eileen of Framingham, Mass.; and brothers Patrick J. of Stevensville, Md., and Kenneth of Southboro, Mass. Visitation will be from 10 to 11 a.m. Saturday, with a service to follow, at Robarts Funeral Home. Burial will be in Massachusetts Veterans Cemetery in Winchendon, Mass.
